Jonetix has designed an Identity Processor (IPU) that enables secure transactions and communication over legacy networks and at the same time eliminates or bypasses each of the network’s root vulnerabilities. The IPU consists of four blocks: a transient identity generator (TIG), a pseudo-random number generator (PRNG), a key derivation function (KDF), and a cryptographic services module (CSM). The TIG creates a chip-unique identity each time the chip is powered. The KDF creates a set of unique encryption keys (Secret DNA Key, Private DNA Key, and Public DNA Key) and it reliably recovers these unique keys even through semiconductor parameter drift.
