Imagine if research into new drugs and treatments for incurable diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and epilepsy could be accelerated so that promising medication becomes avaliable years earlier. We are developing a new sensor system, using the advanced optical and electrical measurement technologies and complex data analysis, that actively monitors and analyses biological live cell signatures non-invasively and non-destructively. This system will be used to monitor the health and general characteristics of cells grown ex vivo, and will enable researchers and biomedical companies to answer the need of the demands of the emerging regenerative medicine industry for cost effective, quality assurance and control.
