An inspirational plea to engineers to focus onpeople first.
We have sought to solve problems as engineers, and not as empathetic human beings. We have abandoned people for process, architecture for speed, and meaning for features.
In order to fulfill our promise to humankind, industry must abandon its desire to mechanize people by relegating them to “users”. We must lose our technophile bigotry before humankind relegates us to the ranks of tech support.
